If you spend some days in our Sitges apartments you can meander through the dream alleys as soon as you step out of the door, and relish the corners full with flowers, the sculptures in the streets, the typical balconies and many more details that make this town so special.

Besides, Sitges is internationally reknown for the prestige of the events held here. The most popular one is the Sitges Film Festival, focused in the fantastic genre, that takes place each October.

Gastronomy

Al Fresco

One of Sitges’ top restaurants, Al Fresco Restaurante serves Mediterranean and international food. With an exclusive feel and a unique ambiance, Al Fresco is perfect for a romantic meal.

El Vivero Beach Club

Vivero, the Beach Club Restaurant, is on the opposite side of Playa Sant Sebastia to our apartments so is within easy walking distance. Decorated around a yacht theme, Vivero serves Mediterranean food on a beautiful deck overlooking the sea.

Komokieras

Trip Advisor’s second best restaurant in Sitges, Komokieras offers Mediterranean food in an intimate setting with a simple décor. Situated right in the heart of Sitges, Komokieras is a restaurant not to be missed.

El Pou de Sitges Tapas

El Pou de Sitges is a welcoming Tapas restaurant. With good prices and a wide choice on the menu, El Pou is a great choice for those looking to try some of the traditional, local cuisine.

Can Laury

The Can Laury restaurant specialises with a fish and seafood menu. It has seating both indoors and outdoors with views over the port. It has a lot of space and many tables giving it a lively but not overcrowded atmosphere.

La Marinada

Situated just around the corner from our apartments, La Marinada is a restaurant which offers a range of Basque-Catalan dishes. It specialises in seafood and the vintage photos around the walls give the restaurant a old-time atmosphere.

Cal Pinxo Sitges

The restaurant Cal Pinxo is only 5 minutes’ walk from our apartments. It uses local ingredients to make traditional, seafood dishes. The restaurant also uses its walls as a gallery to help lesser-known artists promote their work.

Miramar Sitges

Miramar Sitges, just in front of Sant Sebastià beach, is one of the best atmosphere and terrace restaurants in Sitges. You can taste delicious tapas, salads and many more original and mediterranean dishes.

Nem, Tapas Bar

Nem is a place where everyone is welcome. With a new letter every month in Nem you can spend a relaxed time eating well and with a reasonable price with your partner or a group of friends. If you want fresh and seasonal food this is a good option in Sitges.

El Cable

If you want to avoid sites just for tourists and want to enjoy the atmosphere and local cuisine, El Cable is a recommended option. Opened in 1940, this small and cozy tapas bar is ideal for tapas or informal vermouths. It is considered the "bar of the town" of Sitges.

Restaurante Pic Nic

Pic Nic is well known in Sitges for being a restaurant with fantastic sea views. However, in the evening it is also a bar and cocktail lounge.

Culture

Museum of Maricel

It is located 150 meters away from our apartments. The Maricel Museum is one of the places you cannot miss when you visit Sitges. It preserves the works that were carried out since the X century passing through realism and works made in the first half of the XX century. The collection belongs to Dr. Jesús Pérez-Rosales and to the town of Sitges.

Museum of the Cau Ferrat

The Cau Ferrat Museum is on the same location as Maricel and it was founded by Santiago Rusiñol in the year 1893, but not until in the year 1933 that it was opened for public as a museum, since this building served as a house-workshop. You’ll find painting collections, sculptures, glasses, ceramics...that are mixed with the modern art of the artists such as Picasso, Rusiñol or Casas.

House of la Vila of Sitges (City Council)

It is located at the highest point of Sitges, where the castle was located before. A little over 120 meters away from our apartments. The building facade is of civil gothic Catalan style, although the most representative and complex is the principal facade, since it has a symmetrical composition and a central body that stands out. It features a balcony with railings of wood and the enormous lobby with beautiful windows at all sides.

Casa Bacardí Sitges

Located at approximately 130 meters away, at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. It is one of the most bizarre places of Sitges, since it is the home of Don Facundo Bacardí, founder of one of the most important and international brands of rum. Discover the history of this brand and test your senses.

Bastion and Vidal i Quadras Square

A little more than 250 meters away, at the end of the Fonollar Street, stands the Vidal-Quadras House (Balcón del Mar), constructed by the family and has been handed down from generation to generation. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the San Sebastià beach and other parts of Sitges. At the plaza, where you’ll find the so-called Plaza del Baluarte, you’ll see the sculpture of Joan Iriarte called “Postal de Sitges”.

Fonollar Street

Located between the San Sebastià beach and the promenade, only 2 minute walk away. It is one of the streets that you can’t miss. It is remarkable for its buildings and white houses. It is one of the places where the local museums are located and the Viewpoint towards the Mediterranean. You cannot go to Sitges without visiting this street.

Church of Sant Bartolomé and Santa Tecla

It is three minute walk away. It stands on a small hill that presides on the Sitges beach. It is a baroque church that has two bell towers. The name of this church was given by its central altarpiece and it represents Saint Bartholomew and Saint Tecla and the works of the Neapolitan painter Nicolás de Credença. A very characteristic place of Sitges.

Palau de Maricel

The Maricel Palace is one of the other places that you cannot miss as well, since it is one of the most important place to be in Sitges. The most important spot of this palace is the Saló d’Or, a place where academic conferences, arts, social events, businesses and cultural events are being carried out.

Port Alegre Street

It is one of the major streets of Sitges in which our apartments are located. It is located at the beach of San Sebastià and it is the seaside promenade of the beach. There you’ll find a wide range of typical restaurants in the area, aside from tourist restaurants, hamburger chains, beach bars... and if you wish you can have a drink at our very own restaurant: Miramar Sitges.

Romantic Museum

Also known as Can Llopis, 7min away, is a neoclassical building of the nineteenth century opened as a museum in 1949. The house was ceded by Manuel Llopis i de Casades to the Generalitat de Catalunya in 1933. You will find furniture, art and decorative objects, all of the nineteenth century and with that romantic air full of secrets and memories.

Nightlife

Sitges: Gay friendly

Sitges also features its gay area. These streets are great tourist attraction for foreigners and Spanish tourists as well. This area is full of pubs, bars, stores and restaurants. Diversity is a norm in Sitges and without exception. Some of the streets that stand out the most are Carrer Primer de Maig, Carrer Bonaire and Carrer de Joan Tarrida.

Queenz Dinner Show

Queenz Dinner Show is one of the leading cabaret shows in Sitges. Alongside the performance, guests are provided with a meal (with a menu that changes on a monthly basis).You can enjoy a glass of Cava on the terrace before a spectacular three course meal and the show.

Discoteca Ricky´s Sitges

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment, Discoteca Ricky’s is great if you’re looking for a club/disco night out.

La Sitgetana

La Sitgetana Craftbeer is a Brewpub in central Sitges with a wide range of different artisan beers. Many of these are brewed on the premises!

Sweet Pacha

Sweet Pacha is a restaurant with both a “Chill Out” and disco zone. Right next to the sea, this can is a good option whether you are looking to eat or club.

Calle Primero de Mayo

Also known as the Calle Del Pecado, this is the main street of Sitges which is full of restaurants, clubs and bars with music. If you want a night out in Sitges, then this should be where your evening starts.

Puerto de Aiguadolç

Many different bars, including El Pacha (above) can be found in the Puerto de Aiguadolç area.

Terraza en MIM Sitges hotel

The MIM is a 4 star hotel in Sitges. On top it has a beautiful terrace with a swimming pool and stunning views over the sea.

Nature

Sitges Beach

Sitges beach is a five minute walk away. There you’ll find the Naútico Club of Sitges where you can practice any kind of sailing sport. It is a quiet beach, free from stress and with everything you need (bathrooms, beach bars, sunbeds…) to spend a wonderful day on the beach.

San Sebastià Beach

At only one minute walk away from our apartments. It is one of our best beaches. It is a small beach but it’s very welcoming, perfect to relax. It features its calm waters and fine sand. We recommend that you go at sunset, the view is beyond incredible.

Families

Sitges Shopping Area: Mayor Street, Sant Francesc

At approximately 200 meters away, the main area for stores and businesses can be found. This area comprises the streets of Mayor, Sant Francesc, Carrer Sant Pau, Carrer Parellades... there you’ll find stores from the typical family-owned, that make you feel special when you go in, to big stores of national and international brands. In this area you’ll find everything: crafts, fashion, accessories, shoe stores, typical products, bars where you can have a sundae, vermouth.

Sport

Sitges Yacht Club

At only 300 meters away you’ll be able to enjoy the Náutico Club of Sitges. It’s the only sailing club and is located below the church of Sitges. In addition, it offers different courses of all level, you may rent a boat and set out a sailing colony for kids on the summer time.
